FRIWO has long felt responsible for the environment and has worked at finding particularly environmentally friendly solutions not only since the debate concerning global warming or global energy use arose. One example of this is the early introduction of lead-free soldering by the FRIWO Group. This is an important contribution towards implementing the ROHS guidelines (Restrictions on Hazardous Substances).
For FRIWO, climate protection has a high priority in all value-added steps: Our production processes and workflows are subject to continuous monitoring and ongoing improvement processes. All rubbish is separated depending on its recycling compatibility and fed to possible recycling treatment. Furthermore, all production sites are certified with the globally recognized environmental management standard DIN ISO 14001. In order to fulfil the legislative requirements and customer requirements, an appropriate management system is implemented at all sites to analyse the material and energy flows. In this way we can identify saving potentials and initiate measures to permanently reduce waste, sewage and emissions.
